Jonathan Ullyot was born in Winnipeg and lives in Chicago, where he is completing a doctoral dissertation on failure in the quest narrative at the University of Chicago. He also wrote the feature film Crime Fiction (Anthem 2008).

SIN ALLEY

Alden Jones' fiction and essays have appeared in the Iowa Review, AGNI, Post Road, Time Out New York, Prairie Schooner, Gulf Coast, Barcelona Review, and Best American Travel Writing. She has been a Bread Loaf Scholar, a Visiting English Professor on Semester at Sea, and a resident at the David and Julia White Artists' Colony in Costa Rica. She teaches at Emerson College.

Steven Ramirez is from El Paso, Texas. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and recipient of the 2009 Prairie Lights-Jack Legget Short Fiction Award, as well as the 2009 Blue Mesa Review Short Fiction Award. He currently lives in the Midwest and is completing his first collection of short stories.
