Susan Pashman is the author of the novel, The Speed of Light, published in 1997, and of numerous short pieces that have appeared in such journals as The Texas Review, The Portland Review, Dan River Anthology and Burning Word. She lives in Sag Harbor, New York, where she continues her career as a professor of Philosophy. She holds a law degree from Brooklyn Law School and an M.A. in Landscape Aesthetics from The University of Wales. She is currently at work on a memoir of a philosopher's quest for the Sabbath, and is revising her second novel.
