AT THE BITTER END, VIRGIN GORDA

Pudding House Publications released Kate Hallett Dayton’s chapbook, Missing, in 2004. She also received an Award of Merit in Byline’s Poetry Chapbook Competition. Ten poems from Missing earned her a finalist position for the Nimrod International Pablo Neruda Poetry Prize. Her poetry has appeared in Flyway, Art Word Quarterly, The Minnesota Monthly, The North Stone Review, The North Coast Review, Passages North and Nimrod International as well as in publications in Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan, and Iowa.

Matt Mauch is the author of Prayer Book (Lowbrow Press) and the chapbook The Book of Modern Prayer (Palimpsest Press). His poems have recently appeared/ are forthcoming in Salt Hill, InDigest, Connotation Press, Water~Stone Review, H_NGM_N, Poetry Daily, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. He is the editor of Poetry City, USA, Vol. 1, and curator of the annual Great Twin Cities Poetry Read. Mauch teaches writing and literature in the AFA program at Normandale Community College. He lives in Minneapolis.
